CNC Turner - Skilled Machinist
Birmingham
£16-£20ph DOE
Early finish Fridays!!!!
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Turner to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist to work with a business that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC Turning Machines
Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-Code control systems
Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
Producing components to tight tolerances
Setting tools with a clear understanding of cutting speeds and feeds
Performing boring, drilling, and threading operations
Using precision measurement equipment (verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, etc.)
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

What we are looking for

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
Flexible and able to prioritise workload
Commitment to continuous improvement and quality

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC Programming
Experience with CAD/CAM is desirable but not essential

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
