Working Hours

* Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00

* Friday: 07:00 – 13:00

The Opportunity

Our client is looking to recruit a reliable and motivated CNC Turning Operator to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a modern manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining strict quality standards. There is genuine opportunity for progression into CNC setting and programming for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications

* Conduct in-process and final inspections using measuring equipment

* Ensure all components meet quality standards and customer requirements

* Monitor machine performance and report any issues when required

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

* Follow company quality, health, and safety procedures at all times

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience operating CNC turning machines

* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and gauges

* Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach

* Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

* A reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude

Desirable Skills

* Experience working with Fanuc controls

* Exposure to CNC machine setting

* Previous experience within a precision engineering environment
