CNC Vertical Borer (Nights)

We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Vertical Borer (NIGHT SHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: £23.70 starting rate, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Set and operate CNC vertical boring machines.

* Produce large precision-engineered components.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Set tooling, offsets and work holdings.

* Make adjustments and program edits where required.

* Maintain tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes.

* Conduct first-off and in-process inspection activities.

* Complete quality documentation as required.

Requirements

* Previous experience operating CNC vertical boring machines.

* Strong understanding of precision engineering practices.

* Experience machining large components.

* Ability to work independently from engineering drawings.

* Competent with measuring equipment and inspection procedures.

* Flexible approach and willingness to work permanent night shifts.
