Pay Rate: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

On behalf of our client based in Rochdale, we are recruiting an experienced Coded TIG / Stick Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for long-term work, competitive pay, regular overtime, and the chance to secure a permanent position with a respected employer.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Carry out coded TIG welding on high-integrity cryogenic pressure vessels and fabrications.
Perform TIG and Stick welding to a high standard.
Complete tubular welding and fabrication work.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
Prepare, finish, and inspect precision-engineered components.
Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards.
Carry out general fabrication and welding duties as required.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

Time-served experience as a Coded TIG / Stick Welder.
Valid or previously held welding codings (preferred).
Experience welding pressure vessels, pipework, or similar high-integrity fabrications.
The ability to accurately read and work from engineering drawings.
Experience with tubular welding.
A strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe working practices.
Availability to start immediately.
