Coffee Shop Runner/ Front of House - Haywards Heath

MINCKA is a leading specialty coffee shop situated next door to its sister company Madisons Fitness in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Runner/Front of House associate to join our team. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an outstanding coffee shop experience for our guests. 

As a Runner/Front of House, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the front of house area, assisting baristas, and delivering orders promptly and accurately.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional coffee experiences and are looking for a skilled and passionate individual to help us continue our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with baristas and kitchen staff to coordinate order preparation and delivery
• Assist with the presentation of food and beverages to maintain high standards
• Maintain a clean work area and restock supplies as needed
• Monitor and clear tables promptly after customers leave
• Ensure that displays and counters are tidy and visually appealing
• Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe environment 
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

• Prior experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred (but not essential)
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently excellent service
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand, walk and carry items throughout the shift.
