Cold Rolling Mill Setter

Advanced Resourcing are a forward-thinking Agency that specialise within the Manufacturing & Engineering recruitment sector and work with clients all over the West Midlands and Shropshire area.

Due to continued growth, our client is currently recruiting for Cold Rolling Mill Setter/Operator to join their busy manufacturing shop floor.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background with Cold Roll Forming machines and we invite both Operators and Setters to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and prepare cold roll forming machines for production runs.

* Change tooling, rollers, guides, and ancillary equipment as required.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules.

* Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks throughout production.

* Adjust machine settings to achieve required product dimensions and tolerances.

* Identifying potetitnally machinery issues

* Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.

* Working to Manufacuring deadlines

* Carry out routine maintenance and basic machine inspections.

* Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Quality Department, and Maintenance Team.

* Following all Health & Safety policies

Skills & Experience Required:

* Previous experience operating and setting cold roll forming machinery.

* Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.

* Understanding of quality control procedures and measuring equipment.

* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.

* Ability to work off you own iniatatvie
