PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join a leading commercial insurance team. This role focuses on driving new business growth and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering tailored insurance solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through consultative advice
• Identify and convert new business opportunities via networking and referrals
• Manage renewals, ensuring policies meet evolving client needs
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records
• Support colleagues and contribute to team success
• Stay informed on market trends and industry developments

DAY-TO-DAY

• Engage with clients to assess needs and provide bespoke insurance solutions
• Develop and manage a robust new business pipeline
• Oversee timely renewals and client communications
• Collaborate with internal teams and support marketing efforts
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory and market changes

EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Proven experience as an Account Executive in commercial insurance
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and compliance
• Track record of successful new business generation and client retention
• Proficiency with insurance platforms and client management systems

Desirable

• ACII qualification or willingness to pursue (business supported)
• Experience with Acturis or similar systems
