Commercial Account Handler

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a well-respected, independent insurance brokerage with offices across the Northwest. This is a great chance to join a growing, chartered firm that’s committed to delivering outstanding client service and investing in the development of its people.

You’ll work closely with Directors and Account Executives to manage your own portfolio of SME and Mid-Market clients. From renewals to mid-term adjustments, you’ll take ownership of your caseload and ensure your clients always receive a first-class service.

The Commercial Account Handler role:

• Handle renewals, mid-term queries, and client correspondence.
• Build strong relationships with insurers to secure competitive terms.
• Deliver high-quality service in a deadline-driven environment.
• Provide support on cover-related queries alongside internal claims colleagues.

Our ideal Commercial Account Handler:

• A proven experience in commercial insurance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Well-organised with the ability to manage your own caseload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurer systems.
• Working towards CII qualifications (or eager to start).
