Commercial Account Handler (Junior to Mid-Level) Location: Hybrid – Bedford office (Tuesdays to Thursdays on-site) Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 DOE

The Opportunity This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills in a full-service broking role. Whether you're early in your insurance career or already have some commercial handling experience, you’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and exposed to a wide variety of risks and clients. You'll work across a broad book of commercial business, from SMEs to specialist schemes, and play a key part in delivering excellent service throughout the policy lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting Account Handlers and Executives across renewals, MTAs and new business.
Managing a varied client portfolio spanning property owners, PI, motor, liability and commercial combined.
Assisting in preparing broking presentations and renewal reports.
Handling client queries and building strong relationships.
Using Acturis as the primary broking and CRM platform.
Working in the office Tuesday to Thursday, with home-based flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
What We’re Looking For
Some previous experience in insurance (personal lines, commercial or general broking) is ideal, but not essential.
Alternatively, a driven individual keen to build a career in commercial insurance, full training provided.
A proactive attitude, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Ambition to gain professional qualifications – support will be provided towards Cert CII.
Comfortable working with systems and confident using technology to manage workload.
