Commercial Account Handler (or Fast-Track Trainee) Leeds

This Leeds team is growing. They’re busy, they’re winning work, and they need another safe pair of hands—or a sharp mind ready to become one.

The role

You’ll look after a mixed portfolio of commercial clients, keeping service at a high standard and renewals smooth. Day to day you will:

• Handle mid-term changes, renewals and queries across a range of commercial lines.
• Work closely with Account Executives to keep clients feeling looked after (not chased).
• Build constructive relationships with underwriters to secure the best terms.
• Keep the paperwork clean and compliant.
• Deliver a first-class experience to clients and internal teams.

Who fits?

Two good routes in:

Route A – Experienced

• You’ve handled commercial insurance (SME or bigger) and want exposure to larger, more complex cases—with support where needed.

Route B – High-potential

• No insurance experience yet, but you’ve worked in a regulated or process-driven environment with business (commercial) customers—think banking, finance, utilities, telecoms, legal, professional services, etc.
• You bring a positive attitude, quick learning capacity, and tidy, accurate work.

Either way, you’re proactive, steady under pressure, comfortable with people, and you add to the office atmosphere (no mood hoovers).
