With a competitive salary of up to £45,000, this role offers great earning potential and career growth opportunities.Job Description:Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their security needs are metIdentify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling security solutionsCollaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated security solutions to clientsMonitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategiesProvide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales processMain Responsibilities:As part of the Commercial Team, your role is to generate sales of electronic security systems to new & existing Customers. Also developing new contacts and business across all market sectors. A flexibility of approach and multitasking is required.Your role will also involve reviewing specific Client Tender Requests and successfully completing returns to meet the Clients’ specified datesYou will report directly to the Commercial Team Manager. This role requires knowledge and familiarity of the commonly installed, IP CCTV, Intercom, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems. You will be expected to keep such knowledge current and make recommendations on new products or applications that could be profitably incorporated into the company portfolio. (Where required, you will be expected to attend relevant training courses. This will be at the Company’s expense.)This role also requires a high-level of pro-activity and you will be expected to create your own Prospect base via a combination of cold-calling prospective customers, obtaining referrals and introductions from your existing contacts and networking.Where required, you will also attend Client Project Meetings as well as be present at Project/Installation Handover. This will help ensure that the Client is satisfied that the newly installed System meets the stated requirements and that any queries can be promptly dealt with.You will also actively promote the Support & Maintenance Services including Enterprise level Software Support Agreements.Where integration of Security Systems with IT Networks is required, you will work closely with the Technical Support Team to ensure that all necessary software and hardware has been considered.You will also be responsible for recommending to Clients appropriate improvements that they may wish to consider, liaising with colleagues as appropriate, and following these up.You have a responsibility to ensure full compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and similarly, ensuring that the Company’s and colleagues’ property does not get stolen, abused, mislaid, or lost.
