Commercial Accountant

We're seeking a hands-on Commercial Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be a key member of a small, close-knit team and work directly with the CEO to provide financial insight, operational support, and strategic input.

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of role — ideal for someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in, take ownership, and drive performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day finance function, including monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Monitor business performance and provide commercial insight to aid decision-making.
• Business partner with the CEO to improve efficiency, margins, and financial processes.
• Lead cash flow planning, cost control, and financial risk management.
• Liaise with external accountants for year-end and audit.
• Support ad hoc projects including pricing analysis, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
• Oversee a small finance/admin support team.

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in SME or owner-managed businesses.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, lean, and fast-evolving environment.
• Hands-on, proactive, and willing to operate at both strategic and transactional levels.
