Job Description - Commercial Accountant

We have been retained to support our client in their search for a Commercial Accountant, a progressive and growing PE organisation in Bolton. This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 and the chance to make your mark in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

• Hands-on approach to financial reporting and analysis
• Instrumental in the continuous improvement journey of the business
• Opportunity to work closely with the Commercial Systems Manager and Financial Controller

Preferred Requirements:
  • Production of the monthly management accounts
  • Assist the Financial Controller in the production of forecasts and budgeting, as well as managing cash and working capital
  • Support the Commercial Systems Manager in the production of external KPI reporting and daily reporting information
  • Gain detailed knowledge of financial systems, and assist with systems administration
  • Contribute to yearend procedures, including liaising with auditors and preparation of statutory accounts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified or finalist preferred
  • Commercially driven and worked in sectors construction or manufacturing
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced in a previous data analysis
