SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a South Birmingham bbusiness in the recruitment of a Commercial Accountant.
We are seeking a part qualified or finalist ACCA/CIMA accountant who is keen to join a growing business and to undertake a pivotal role within commercial finance.
Experience gained within a similar role is essential as you will have autonomy for sets of management accounts for specific revenue streams.

Key duties will include:
Preparing monthly Management Accounts including relevant schedules required for the internal & external reporting in accordance with the company policies, whilst keeping to strict monthly deadlines, which including posting monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals
Preparing and posting all month-end journals
Producing analysis of the revenue streams to ensure revenue is captured in the correct period
Managing the fixed asset register
Preparing monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring all the reconciliation related queries are resolved in the same period.
Reviewing monthly transactional/cost reports to ensure relevant costs and associated revenue has been accounted in the correct period.
Reviewing monthly receipted/unreceipted purchase orders.
To provide accurate and credible financial information Budgeting/ forecasting
Preparing annual budgets and monthly P&L and Cashflow forecast.
