The Role
Commercial Accountant - Manufacturing - Hybrid working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Accountant to take on a key leadership role within a busy finance team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering high-quality financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making.

The Role
The Commercial Accountant duties will include:

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Oversee sales and purchase ledger processes, including debt management.
Lead the month-end close process and review balance sheet reconciliations.
Develop medium-term cashflow forecasts and review VAT returns
Present financial results and cost/variance analysis to senior stakeholders.
Monitor and report on capital expenditure and significant budgets.

The Person
The requirements for the Commercial Accountant role are:

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Strong background in management accounting and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in financial systems and Excel.
Strong communication skills and comfortable in liaising with other areas of the business
