Macildowie are working with this client based in Market Harborough to recruit a Commercial Accountant into a growing and purpose-driven organisation.

The Role:
Working closely with the FP&A Manager, you will take ownership of margin-related month-end processes, reconciliations, and profitability reporting. You'll support budgeting and forecasting cycles with actionable insight and ensure P&L accuracy across. This is a hands-on, varied role that gives you a platform to partner across finance and commercial teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of P&L to margin level
• Month-end reconciliation and revenue postings
• Review and preparation of COS accruals and prepayments
• Weekly cost reconciliations
• Detailed commentary and analysis on performance
• Supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles
• Cross-functional collaboration and ad-hoc project work

About You:

• Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Solid experience in management or commercial accounting
• Confident Excel user with good systems understanding
