Commercial Administrator

We’re looking for a Commercial Admin to join our team in the Rutland area and play a key role in keeping our projects organised, accurate and moving forward.

The contract will be for a minimum of 6 - 9 month and based from the office.

Construction sector experience isn't a necessity, but commercial administration experience is a non negotiable.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, and thrives in a relaxed environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the region, supporting day-to-day commercial activity and helping ensure everything adds up.

What you’ll be doing

* Producing timely reports to support the commercial team during month-end reporting

* Assisting with variation pricing and change control processes

* Working with other functions to provide information for periodic KPI reporting

* Supporting project teams to ensure timely payments to the supply chain by processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and payment certificates

* Supporting cash flow reporting and cost-to-complete forecasting

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial records

About you

* Interested in construction and civils, with a good awareness of how commercial teams support managers and the overal business.

* Comfortable using Excel and IT systems; experience with CRM system would be an advantage, but isn’t essential

* Eager to learn, develop and build a long-term career within the commercial function
