Job Description - Commercial Analyst

The Company

Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a market-leading FMCG business in West Manchester. Due to continued growth they require a commercial astute individual with strong Excel, commercial acumen and data skills to join their exciting team.

Salary – Circa £35,000

Location – South Manchester

Hybrid – 3 days in 2 working from home.

Responsibilities will include:

Continual review of MPI, Margin % and volume to ensure customer accounts are trading accurately and at the most optimum level.
Evaluating the profitability of customer accounts and collaborating with the sales team to enhance performance or devise exit strategies.
Supporting the sales team in business tenders, reviews and re-tenders. This includes attending customer meetings and presenting commercial proposals.
Create an accurate 12 month rolling forecast across the business, finding the balance between challenging information provided by the sales team whilst maintaining a realistic and accurate position.
Balance Sheets completed within deadlines and accuracy in accruals.

Person Specification:

Intermediate Excel skills.
Keen to study CIMA.
Strong commercial acumen & confidence to make relationships.
The ability to embrace complex data to provide valuable analysis and insight.
Experience of business partnering within a professional work environment.
