Commercial Analyst

• Salary Range: £25,000 - £32,000

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a bright and talented Commercial Analyst to join our rapidly expanding company based in Colchester. This role is integral to supporting our commercial department by providing detailed analysis and insights that drive our business forward.

• Provide detailed analysis to the Commercial Managers to support negotiations with suppliers.
• Liaise directly with the Commercial Director to complete reporting tasks as required.
• Work alongside the Product File team to create competitive pricing structures for our sales staff.
• Provide ad-hoc information to Regional Directors and Branch Managers in a clear and concise format.
• Calculate customer and supplier rebate accruals accurately across our locations.
• Compile and review data from various sources to identify key areas for potential improvement and growth within the business.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Macros and general coding is beneficial.
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Phocas, Qlik, or Alteryx is preferred.
• Key personality traits include a keen eye for detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, a proactive attitude to research, and a logical approach to data analysis.
