Commercial Analyst

Reed is working with a key client based close to Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Commercial Analyst on a permanent basis. The role’s main purpose is to assist the Commercial Manager with analysis of business sectors to develop them through favourable price implementation and maintenance, ensuring commercial viability at all times.

The role interacts with the finance function with regards to customer rebates.

The main responsibilities the positions entails are:

• Analyse commercial proposals and complete profitability checks
• Costing preparation and review
• First point of contact for pricing queries
• Analyse contractual agreements and quotes ensuring company policy on profitability is adhered to
• Assist Manager with analysis on any price amendments or changes and inform those responsible of findings
• Prepare and communicate analysis and findings across all levels of the organisation
• Support Sales teams with analysis, quotes and pricing to ensure profitability for the company

To be considered for the position, you must possess the following experience

• Around 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills for presentation of information
• Negotiation skills
• Highly analytical
