An opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join a growing team, bridging the gap between finance and commercial teams, delivering key insights and analytics, optimising performance, and driving business growth.

You’ll play a key role in supporting financial performance and commercial decision-making, developing and maintaining commercial models, supporting revenue forecasting, and delivering insightful financial reporting to empower commercial teams.

The Job.

• Develop and maintain commercial models, particularly focused on promotional incentives and contract renewals.
• Develop and maintain a robust revenue estimation method to enable performance reporting across the business.
• Create and maintain reports using both excel and Power BI.
• Responsible for supporting the monthly reporting process in collaboration with the BI team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting outputs.
• Proactively communicate financial data and insights, ensuring transparency and providing the necessary information and tools to support effective decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Finance, Commercial, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective information sharing and collaboration.
• Analyse promotional incentives to identify optimisation opportunities and share actionable insights with the wider team to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the management of bad debt provisioning by communicating with relevant stakeholders and following up to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.
• Leverage finance data to identify and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency in collaboration with commercial teams.

The candidate.

• Proven experience in a commercial, finance or business analyst role.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills, including expert use of Excel and knowledge of Power BI.
• Ability to understand financial data and its commercial implications.
• Understanding of commercial processes.
• Ability to proactively solve problems, identify and investigate anomalies.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
