The Role

As they continue to grow, their expanding commercial team are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join them at their Haydock office. This is a permanent, full-time position where you'll work closely with the Commercial Manager to strengthen commercial practices and deliver value across your business unit.

What you'll get up to:

• Keep an eye on how their projects are performing - spotting what's working well and where we can do better

• Dive into the numbers behind cashflow and profits, helping them make smarter, faster decisions

• Take a look at contracts and help flag any bumps in the road before they become a problem

• Work with subcontractors to make sure everything runs smoothly and stays on track

• Help them fine-tune our commercial tools and ways of working so we're always improving

• Be a go-to support for our operations team when it comes to anything commercial or contractual

• Team up with the Commercial Manager on everything from day-to-day tasks to bigger-picture projects

What they're looking for:

This role's a great fit for someone who's already dipped their toes into the world of finance or commercial work - maybe for a year or two - and is ready to build on that experience. You don't need to know everything, but you should be comfortable with spreadsheets, good with numbers, and naturally curious about how businesses tick. If you're the type of person who likes asking "why" and can explain things clearly to others, you'll fit in just fine.
