We're looking for an experienced Commercial Assistant to join our Commercial Team in Chatham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of the waste and recycling sector and is confident managing contracts, supporting customer accounts and working closely with operational teams.

You'll play a key role in supporting the Commercial Team by:

Raising and managing customer contracts through the CRM system
Supporting commercial queries and maintaining customer accounts
Liaising with operational sites to obtain forecasts and commercial information
Producing and maintaining accurate commercial reports and records
Managing new customer and supplier set-ups
Providing high-quality administrative support across the Commercial TeamWhat we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Previous commercial administration experience within the waste and recycling industry (essential)
At least one year's experience in a commercial, sales support or contracts administration role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across commercial and operational teams
Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
The ability to prioritise workloads and work accurately in a busy environmentApplications from candidates without previous experience in the waste and recycling sector cannot be considered for this position.
