Commercial Associate

Our client, a Top 100 National Law Firm, is seeking a talented Commercial Associate to join their highly regarded team in London, Sussex or Surrey. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice, the firm is experiencing significant growth and is looking for a commercially minded lawyer with excellent drafting skills to support their expanding client base.

As a Commercial Associate, you will work on a broad range of commercial agreements, including:

• Supply and manufacturing agreements
• Brand licensing and IP-related contracts
• IT and technology agreements
• Outsourcing and procurement contracts
• Data protection and cybersecurity matters

You will be working closely with an established Commercial team, who have extensive experience in technology, intellectual property, and data protection.
While prior experience in these areas is desirable, it is not essential. The team is extremely busy and is looking for high-quality lawyers with a strong background in commercial contract work.

The Ideal Candidate:

• NQ-2 years PQE with experience in commercial contracts
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a diverse workload and advise clients on complex business arrangements
• Exposure to technology, IP, or data privacy matters is beneficial but not required
• A proactive and commercially focused mindset
• Good academics
