Salary: £135,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We're supporting a UK challenger bank with a strong commercial lending portfolio in hiring a Commercial Banking Director to lead and grow their strategic Real Estate Finance division.

The role involves overseeing a high-performing team, managing complex real estate transactions (£10m+), and representing the bank's interests with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Relationship Managers and Analysts
Structure and execute large CRE transactions across asset classes
Manage credit, operational, and regulatory risks
Develop long-term relationships with key market players
Influence product design, pricing strategies, and internal risk policy

Requirements:

Extensive experience in Commercial Real Estate Finance
Proven ability to lead teams and manage large, complex transactions
Deep understanding of real estate markets and credit structuring
Strong internal stakeholder management at exec level
Ability to influence strategy and drive commercial outcomes
