We are recruiting a Southampton-based Commercial Manager to support a major port operator. We are seeking a driven, client-focused professional who is comfortable working autonomously and thrives in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have experience reviewing interim payment applications, ensuring commercial compliance, producing cost reports, managing procurement activities, and administering contracts.

The ideal candidate will be purpose-driven, ambitious, and motivated to succeed within a growing team, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression. 

This role is hybrid and require travel 2-3 days per week on site.

You’ll need to have:

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Working towards chartership or MRICS accreditation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare reports, negotiate effectively, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience resolving commercial, procurement, and contract administration issues.
