Commercial Contracts Lawyer (4-8 years')

A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its growing Commercial Team in Edinburgh. This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercial lawyer looking to work across a broad range of commercial contracts, data protection and IP matters within a highly respected and collaborative environment.

The Role:
You will advise on a wide variety of commercial contracts, as well as data protection, IP, technology, outsourcing and procurement matters. The role also offers exposure to regulatory work across sectors such as food, life sciences and consumer products, alongside supporting transactional due diligence and supervising junior colleagues.

You Will:

• Be a qualified solicitor (Scotland or England & Wales) with 4-8 years’ PQE in commercial law
• Have strong experience in commercial contracts and data protection (IP/IT/outsourcing experience advantageous)
• Demonstrate excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a commercial and pragmatic approach
• Show a genuine interest in legal technology and the integration of AI into legal workflows
• Enjoy mentoring junior team members and building trusted client relationships
