Are you a commercially minded professional with a strong joinery background and experience across estimating, procurement, design, and contract management?

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join a growing business in Kent. This is a genuinely varied role where you'll take ownership of projects from initial pricing and procurement through to delivery, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

This opportunity would suit someone who has progressed through the joinery industry and understands the commercial and operational aspects of delivering successful projects.

The Role

Manage projects from enquiry through to completion
Prepare estimates, cost plans, and quotations
Oversee procurement activities and supplier relationships
Review designs and technical specifications
Negotiate contracts and manage commercial risks
Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

About You

Strong background within the joinery industry
Previous experience in estimating and procurement/buying
Commercially aware with contract management experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
NVQ Level 3 and/or City & Guilds qualification preferred
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects
