Job Description - Commercial Director - Hybrid 3 days a week in Chester

I am delighted to be partnering with a rapidly expanding t/o £100m+ Leisure business based near Chester in search of a Commercial Director to enhance their team.

The primary focus is on driving top line revenue growth and bottom line profits by collaborating closely with marketing managers and the 3rd party booking agent to maximise improvements and performance. The approach involves a mix of data-driven marketing, high-performance sales leadership, and seamless cross-functional teamwork to optimise revenue and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities include:
-Develop a comprehensive three-year commercial plan to boost revenue, EBITDA, and market share.
- Establish channel-specific targets with defined KPIs and ROI hurdles.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to lead and mentor on-site sales managers in achieving sales volume and margin targets.
- Devise strategies to enhance sales profits by optimising pricing strategies,
incentives, and finance packages in coordination with Finance and Yield teams.
- Implement a structured lead-nurture funnel to convert enquiries into successful completions.
- Oversee SEO, PPC, CRM, CRO, and brand initiatives, building strong partnerships with Marketing and Web development agencies to deliver results.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with Yield Management and Commercial Finance teams to align on pricing, inventory, and margin strategies while providing valuable market insights and demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive growth and inspire a results-driven, test-and-learn, results-first mindset culture within the marketing and sales teams.
- Advocate for customer-centricity, ensuring all touchpoints reflect the premium
brand promise.

To be considered, you must have the following skills and experience:
- Over 10 years of senior commercial leadership experience in travel,
hospitality, property, or leisure sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving B2C marketing growth and high-value sales.
- Proficiency in technical SEO, performance marketing, and hands-on sales-force management.
- Strong financial acumen, capable of managing £50m+ P&L, building forecasts,
and presenting to investors.
- A visionary leader who can scale teams and instil a culture of commercial
accountability.
