Commercial Electrician

RedRock Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing electrical contractor, who are looking to expand their team with experienced Commercial Electricians.

The Role
Working as part of an experienced team, you'll be involved in the installation of electrical services across a wide range of commercial projects throughout London, the Home Counties and the M25 corridor.
Projects include:
* Schools
* Hospitals
* Commercial offices
* Theatres
* Local authority buildings
* Public sector refurbishment and fit-out projects
Approximately half of the work is across London and the Home Counties, with the remainder on local authority contracts. Occasional overnight stays may be required to meet project requirements, although this represents less than 5% of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out first and second fix electrical installations.
* Installing containment systems, cabling, lighting, power and associated electrical services.
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
* Completing installations to a high standard in line with current regulations.
* Working safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.
* Working independently or as part of a team to deliver projects on time.
* Assisting with testing, commissioning and snagging where required.
Requirements
* ECS Gold Card (Essential).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Proven commercial installation experience.
* Ability to work confidently from drawings.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
* Testing & Inspection qualification (2391/2391-52) would be advantageous but is not essential.
