Commercial Executive

Come and make an impact as our next Commercial Executive in the Packaging Commercial team! You’ll help source bespoke products and find the best way to bring them to market, working closely with our supplier network and Purchasing team. You’ll also regularly review our existing CZ line arrangements to make sure they’re still the right fit.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll source and negotiate bespoke stock to reduce costs, while helping sales colleagues manage enquiries and assess quote opportunities. It’s a chance to make a real impact at Antalis Packaging.

About the Role• Handling bespoke enquiries from quote through sourcing and fulfilment.

• Provide guidance and opinions of quote success opportunity at commencement.

• Review all customer dedicated stock (CZ) line arrangements, revisiting at point of replenishment.

• Continually review the overall value offered by existing suppliers to remain market competitive.

• Work closely with Sales team, on opportunities, to develop the best solution for the customer.

• Look to consolidate bespoke stock range packaging buying through efficient supplier selection.

• Work closely with the Commercial Manager to communicate supplier performance.

• Create and maintain a record of key data relating to quotations, to monitor conversion success.

• Identify effective route to markets for bespoke items, supporting tender completion.

Requirements

• Experience of the Packaging Market

• Strong commercial awareness

• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in cost reduction

• Highly structured and organised, to enable effective management of wide range of queries

• System and Data driven, highly adept at navigating our systems

• Ability to Network and build relationships throughout the business

• Flexibility, multi-tasking and prioritisation to handle various demands on time
