You’ll shape it. This role is a blank canvas – you’ll bring it to life, with direct support from the Finance Director.

You’ll be at the heart of strategy. From modelling M&A activity to delivering insight that drives decision-making, your work will matter.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
Building and presenting insightful reporting using Power BI / Tableau / Excel / Datarails
Regular monthly reporting and contributing to MI
Supporting M&A activity with financial analysis, scenario modelling and ROI evaluations
Working hands-on with time-recording data, process efficiency and accurate category allocations
Helping to implement a brand new finance system and interpreting data from the legacy system
Driving process improvements and identifying areas for automation or smarter working
Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to shape financial strategy
What you will need:
Previous experience in a similar role, such as Commercial Finance Analyst / Commercial Business Analyst / Finance Analyst / Financial Modeller / Finance Data Analyst / FP&A Analyst / Reporting Accountant / MI Analyst / M&A Accountant
Proven experience in financial modelling
To be a curious, commercial-minded analyst who enjoys improving things and asking why
Confidence with large data sets and tools like Power BI, Tableau and PowerQuery
Confidence in calculating ROI and building business cases, and communicating across stakeholders
Hands-on attitude and a collaborative, people-first approach
Exposure to AI tools or willingness to adopt them
