Key Responsibilities

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to sales, gross margin, open orders, and other KPIs to assist sales and operational leadership
• Perform analysis of aged debtor balances, prepare bad debt provisions, and reconcile the trade debtor ledger
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely closure of commercial sales periods and proactively address system discrepancies
• Reconcile the customer rebate ledger and calculate rebate entitlements
• Assist in preparing executive-level presentations for both regular and ad-hoc reporting cycles
• Distribute and monitor monthly sales targets and performance, including calculating bonus payments
• Compile commercial documentation for audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing reporting systems and tools used by commercial teams
• Act as a key point of contact for Commercial team members, offering financial insight and decision-making support
• Ensure that standard cost data is current and accurate for all items sold
• Provide support to branch teams in resolving invoice and stock-related queries

Skills & Experience Required

• Part-qualified in a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g., AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Strong Excel skills with confidence working with large datasets.

• Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach
• Effective communicator across varying levels of seniority
• Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced commercial setting
