Commercial Finance Analyst

As Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll join a well-established business with over 70 years of success. You’ll be a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organisation, providing insight, challenge and recommendations that influence strategy. It’s a role that goes far beyond reporting, with direct exposure to senior leaders and the chance to build dashboards and analyses that track multi-million-pound projects.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering financial analysis and insight on major commercial projects
• Acting as a bridge between the PMO and business unit leaders
• Building dashboards to track progress, efficiency and value creation
• Supporting forecasting, budgeting and reporting
• Spotting trends in financial data and shaping recommendations
• Building strong partnerships with senior leaders and providing insights to aid commercial decisions
• Reviewing KPIs, business cases and supporting audits

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Commercial Finance Analyst / FP&A Accountant / Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Finance Analyst
• To be qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA or qualified by experience
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and modelling
• To be commercially minded, curious and confident in influencing stakeholders
• Strong analytical and business modelling experience
