Job Title: Commercial Finance Analyst
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
Salary: £43,000 – £50,000 + Bonus + Study Support

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, establish business with year on year growth based in their Milton Keynes office. You’ll play a key role in providing analysis, insight, and guidance to senior stakeholders, helping to shape strategic decisions across the business. Business partnering with department heads and directors, you will take ownership of cost reporting, ensuring accurate month-end results and driving financial visibility across the business. Alongside reporting responsibilities, you’ll also get involved in contract renewals, budgeting, forecasting, and a variety of ad-hoc projects that will give you excellent commercial exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end process for, including accruals, prepayments, and analysis.
• Produce monthly management reporting packs and deliver cost centre insights to budget holders.
• Provide commercial support for contract renewals and cost-saving initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to explain results, track performance, and challenge costs.
• Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support both external and internal audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting and analysis.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and actively studying.
• Strong commercial awareness with proven business partnering experience.
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI highly desirable.
• Proactive, organised, and confident in taking ownership of processes.
