SALARY: £60,000 - £70,000 plus car allowance (depending upon experience)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join their finance team and support our strategic initiatives.

The Role

As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and analysis to drive business performance. You will work closely with senior management and various departments to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
• Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
• Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to ensure financial stability and growth.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

• Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Commercial Finance Analyst or in a FP&A role, preferably in the technology or professional services sector.
  • Education: Fully Qualified CCAB.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial modelling, Excel, and financial software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
