About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially-minded Commercial Finance Business Partner to join the growing team of a client of ours based in Leicester. This role acts as a key interface between operations and finance, helping to drive performance, improve profitability, and implement commercial best practices across a diverse business portfolio.
You will be a trusted advisor to operational leads, supporting contract performance, pricing strategies, and strategic decision-making, while ensuring adherence to group commercial policy and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing: Design and manage pricing strategies to ensure profitable and efficient service delivery.
• Project & Contract Performance: Monitor project margins, support change management, and lead commercial performance reviews.
• Working Capital: Drive timely invoicing, manage WIP, and improve cashflow performance.
• Commercial Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor, manage subcontractors, lead client negotiations, and support forecasting.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a commercial or finance-focused role.
• Background in multi-division or multi-contract environments is advantageous.
• Strong track record in negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability to simplify complex data and present commercially sound recommendations.
