Commercial Finance Business Partner | £55,000 - £65,000 | Selby Area

An opportunity has arisen to work with a very successful FMCG business in a key role supporting the commercial teams across the UK. Reporting in to the Head of Commercial Finance you will have complete autonomy to drive improvements and performance providing strategic MI in this highly visible role.

• Lead the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting to support key business decisions.
• Analyse sales performance and margin trends, providing insights to enhance commercial outcomes.
• Evaluate pricing strategies and contract terms to ensure profitability and resilience to cost fluctuations.
• Present financial insights in commercial meetings to influence sales direction and business planning.
• Collaborate with sales and operational teams to assess growth opportunities and support demand planning.
• Identify and recommend initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness, such as SKU optimization and stockholding strategies.
• Promote consistent financial practices and reporting standards across all business units.
• Collaborate on initiatives that drive efficiency within financial operations and reporting processes.
• Monitor and track performance against commercial incentive schemes.
• Act as a key finance partner to the commercial team, ensuring alignment between financial goals and strategic plans.

Candidate profile;

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
• Strong, proven commercial acumen
• Excellent excel skills – comfortable producing complex models
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage your own workload and diary
• Previous experience working with commercial/sales team preferred
