Commercial Finance Controller

EJC is partnered with a market-leading pharmaceutical business as they are looking for a talented Commercial Finance Controller to take ownership of financial performance across three of it's divisions. Reporting directly to the UK CFO, this is a high-visibility role at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy.

In this role, you will be a trusted commercial partner, actively challenging Sales and Marketing stakeholders, shaping business decisions, and bringing financial insight to life for senior leadership including the CEO and CFO.

1. Leading the performance agenda across Generics, Prescriptions, and Speciality — providing insight and commercially challenging key stakeholders
2. Owning monthly business reporting (P&L management, performance review, risks & opportunities) across all three divisions
3. Driving proactive engagement across core business processes including S&OP cycles and new product launches
4. Leading the annual Financial Planning Process end-to-end, including co-ordinating and presenting to CEO/CFO level
5. Managing balance sheet control across rebates, accruals, and prepayments
6. Conducting generics pricing, rebate agreement, and tender review analysis
7. Building scenario models around market share and patient acquisition for Specialty products

You'll be a qualified accountant (CIMA or ACA) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector. You're equally comfortable in a boardroom presenting to the CFO as you are deep in a spreadsheet, and you know how to make numbers tell a story.
