Commercial Finance Manager – Nottingham – Hybrid working - £65-75,000 + Bens

What You'll Be Doing…
• You’ll act as a strategic finance partner to the business, taking ownership of:
• Producing monthly board packs with smart, insightful analysis
• Driving performance through impactful forecasting and business planning
• Identifying performance gaps and creating actionable improvement plans
• Leading on commercial assessments — from recruitment ROI to major investment decisions
• Coaching and upskilling non-financial stakeholders in financial understanding
• Supporting M&A due diligence and integration
• Creating long-term financial models and scenario planning
• Exploring new income opportunities, such as grants or development funds
• Collaborating with wider finance teams to share knowledge and best practice

What We're Looking For…
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification
• Proven experience in a similar commercial finance role, ideally within an SME or fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel skills, particularly in financial modelling
• A natural ability to build credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders
• A proactive mindset — comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels
• A flexible, can-do attitude and a desire to make things better, always
