Commercial Finance Manager

A global manufacturing company in Pontefract have a vacancy for a Commercial Finance Manager. The business supplies retailers across the UK

As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for generating sustainable and profitable growth by working in partnership with commercial and product teams. You will bring a high degree of rigour, actively challenge existing ways of working to deliver lasting improvements and recognise the commercial impact beyond the numbers by providing credible insights

• Partner with the commercial team to produce and maintain standardised cost models to evaluate new and existing business tenders
• Regular detailed financial analysis of past and forecast performance, identifying trends to support business decisions and drive improvement initiatives.
• Develop and enhance actual cost reporting providing higher level of product profitability transparency for commercial team to support robust decision making
• Work cross functionally to fully understand manufacturing capabilities and limitations ensuring these are reflected in commercial models
• Active participation in New and Existing Product Development and commercial forecast meetings
• Lead on production of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes

You will be;

• Qualified Accountant with a manufacturing background
• Proven track record in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Excellent system skills including experience and knowledge of full ERP systems
