Commercial Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a reputable, PE backed Technology business in Sheffield City Centre as they look for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the team.

The business is continually growing and expanding their services due to new investment and a strong appetite for success. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and career-oriented individual to join the team.

Working within the Commercial Finance Team, you’ll be responsible for helping strategic decision making through delivering meaningful reports and analysis. This will be a highly visible and value-adding role within a fast paced and dynamic working environment

Duties will include: -

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Business partnering with key stakeholders in order to manage budgets as well as deliver financial information and insights
• Supporting with FP&A activity
• Analyse business performance and provide advice/ insights to support business decision making
• Produce financial forecasts
• KPI analysis and production of performance reports and dashboards
• Conduct detailed variance/ margin analysis
• Contribution to strategic projects and working across the business functions including commercial and operational teams

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: -

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
• Ideally practice trained from a mid-large sized accountancy firm
• Good reporting and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deal with stakeholders at any level
• Commercially astute
• Organised and able to deal with multiple deadlines
