Commercial Finance Manager - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine is thrilled to be working exclusively with a well-known business to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in shaping business strategy, driving performance, and influencing decision-making.

This role offers a hybrid working patten, 3 days in the office & 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial & Trading Insights – Review daily, weekly & monthly trading performance, identifying risks & opportunities
• Budgeting & Forecasting – Work closely with Commercial Finance & Buying teams to translate commercial plans into robust financial models
• Supplier Rebates & Incentives – Oversee supplier funding, ensuring alignment with financial targets
• Pricing & Stock Analysis – Support pricing decisions & stock management through detailed financial modelling & reporting
• Process Improvements – Continuously refine reporting & analytical processes to enhance efficiency & accuracy

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Commercially savvy with strong business partnering experience (Retail/FMCG experience desirable)
• Advanced Excel skills & exposure to data analytics tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see both the details & the bigger picture
• Confident communicator, able to challenge & influence senior stakeholders
