Role Summary

The Commercial Financial Controller will oversee financial
operations, commercial performance, and operational efficiency for a privately
owned e‑commerce
business. You will ensure strong financial governance while enabling profitable
growth across digital, marketplace, and supply chain channels. This role suits
a commercially minded leader who can blend strategic insight with hands‑on
operational control.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy — Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow
  management, and long‑range commercial modelling to support growth plans.
  
• Operational Finance — Strengthen inventory accuracy,
  optimise supply chain costs, and improve end‑to‑end operational efficiency.
  
• Commercial Analysis — Deliver actionable insights on
  margin performance, stock turns, promotional effectiveness, and trading trends.
  
• Team Leadership — Manage and develop finance professionals
  while partnering closely with operations, logistics, merchandising, and
  marketplace teams.
  
• Governance — Maintain robust financial controls,
  compliance, audit readiness, and risk management frameworks.
  

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  
• 10+ years’ leadership experience in e‑commerce,
  supply chain, retail, or marketplace environments.
  
• Strong operational, inventory, and supply chain management
  expertise.
  
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional
  teams in high‑growth environments.
  
• Strong analytical, commercial, and decision‑making
