Commercial Gas Engineer Role:

Are you a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking to join a well-established and respected company in the property maintenance sector who have been trading for over 20 years? We're hiring on behalf of a leading facilities client to support a portfolio of commercial properties across the Southeast and London areas. You'll be responsible for a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on banks, schools, MOD sites, offices and other commercial buildings. This position is 80% service and maintenance with some installation such as pump changes, boiler changes etc.

The successful Commercial Gas Engineer will combine technical expertise with client interaction, so strong communication and fault-finding skills are essential.

The client offers its engineers autonomy and doesn't micro-manage, allowing you to get on with the job and manage your own time.

Commercial Gas Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on commercial gas systems
• Maintain and repair a range of equipment including boilers, pumps, pressure sets, and basic control systems
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and heating system issues
• Ensure high standards of customer service while working on-site

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and repair
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Current and valid commercial gas certifications (e.g. COCN1 or CODNCO1)
• Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
• Great communication and client-facing abilities
