Company Overview:
A leading contractor specialising in Mechanical, Electrical, and Telecommunications services. Their focus is on delivering exceptional maintenance solutions to a diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Project Manager within the Mechanical, Electrical & Building Maintenance Division.
Conducting maintenance-driven tasks such as Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive calls.
Undertaking Gas and Plumbing Installation works with a primary focus on maintenance.
Testing and inspecting Mechanical Services within client buildings, including repairs of Heating, Hot water, and Ventilation systems.
Key Skills/Requirements:
Technical proficiency and competence in commercial gas engineering.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
Aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Commercial awareness to add maximum value to clients' businesses.
Flexibility to accommodate occasional out-of-hours call rota.
Driving license and willingness to travel to client sites (DBS check required).
Computer literacy and ability to work to strict deadlines.
Qualifications/Experience:
Previous experience in commercial sites.
Essential certifications including CCN1 Core Domestic safety, CENWAT Boilers, CKR1 Gas Cookers, HYR1 Wall Heaters and Gas Fires.
Commercial Gas qualifications such as CDGA1, Direct Fired Heating Appliances, CIGA1 Indirect Fired Gas Appliances, CORT1 Gas Fired Radiant Tube and Plaque Heaters, and TPCP1 or 1A Testing and Purging.
Experience with commercial catering (advantageous but not essential).
Additional advantages include LPG and F Gas qualifications.
