Commercial Heating & Maintenance Engineer

Location: Cambridge, with travel to client sites across the region
Salary: Competitive DOE + paid travel + overtime + on-call allowance

The Role

*

Carry out PPM, reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and commissioning across oil-fired heating, gas and associated HVAC systems.

*

Complete service reports, compliance records and CAFM updates, while ensuring work meets relevant regulations, RAMS and site requirements.

*

Liaise with the client and helpdesk, identify additional works, manage spares and maintain safe plant room/work areas.

*

Participate in the on-call rota and provide support for reactive issues when required.

About You

*

OFTEC and Gas qualifications are essential, with Gas Safe or ACS advantageous.

*

Commercial or industrial maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of oil-fired heating and gas systems.

*

Experience with air conditioning/refrigeration and SFG20 maintenance is desirable.

*

Good fault-finding, health & safety and client-facing skills, with the ability to work independently.

*

Comfortable using CAFM systems/tablets and holding a full UK driving licence.

*

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent is desirable.
