One of the largest MGAs in the UK, based in the heart of the City, which specialises in the SME to mid-market Property & Casualty business. They have fantastic relationships with their panel of brokers and put their clients at the centre of their underwriting strategy.Due to growth and recent company restructuring, they are now looking to add a Development Underwriter to their city division.

Your new role

As a Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for writing new business within the Commercial / Property book, adding to an already strong pipeline. They have committed brokers in the region and are looking for an individual to come in and add value to the proposition. Predominately a remote role, you will be expected to be on the road, arranging broker appointments and winning new business.

What you'll need to succeed

5+ Years experience underwriting, commercial / property business, confidence, going out and meeting with brokers / selling the companies' products, meeting, taking on responsibility / entrepreneurial mindset. Prior to brokering relationships, preferred but not essential
