Commercial Insurance Account Executive

My client is seeking an experienced Account Executive or an insurance professional looking for their next challenge.
My client is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded insurance professional to join their successful brokerage. This is a unique opportunity to cover areas of Suffolk including Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
This is an opportunity for someone who is driven with a strong character and relationship-building skills to develop into a key commercial leader within the East of England. You'll work closely with my client’s senior leadership team to grow existing client relationships as well as identify new business opportunities and help strengthen my client’s presence across the count of Suffolk.
Main duties
* You will build and developing strong relationships with commercial clients across Suffolk.
* You will manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* You will provide professional and independent insurance advice tailored to client needs.
* You will work closely with the Account Director to support strategic growth plans.
* You will maintain a visible presence in the local business community and developing key stakeholder relationships.
* You will support client retention through excellent service and relationship management.
* You will collaborate with colleagues across the company to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
* You will ensure all activities are conducted in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key experience
* You will hold experience within commercial insurance, either as an Account Executive, Development Executive, Account Handler or similar role.
* You will possess a strong understanding of the local business community and commercial insurance market.
* You will have a proven ability or display a genuine desire to develop new business opportunities.
* You will possess excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
* You will possess excellent commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
* You will be self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
* You will possess a collaborative approach with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.
* You will be committed to continuous professional development and maintaining technical knowledge.
Qualifications
* Insurance qualifications (Cert CII or working towards) desirable.
* A full UK driving licence will be required.
