Up to £80,000 + Attractive Bonus + Benefits

The Company
Your new employer is a successful, independent and medium-sized Lloyd's Wholesale Broker who have been established for over 20 years.

With offices both in the heart of the city and internationally, they now have an incredible opportunity for a Broker / Account Executive to join their successful, thriving and expanding UK Wholesale Property & Casualty Team.

This amazing opportunity, as a Broker / Account Executive will be working and expanding upon an established portfolio involving liaising and negotiating extensively with Clients and Underwriters cultivating in the successful placement of risk into the market.

The Role
Responsible for managing and building upon an existing portfolio of Agents/Retail Brokers
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both Underwriters and Clients
Proactively researching and assessing Client needs
Negotiating with Underwriters to secure the best possible premium for the Client before placing the risk into the market
Preparing for and attending both existing Client and New Business meetings to expand the portfolio and increase financials for the organisation
Developing and mentoring allocated Account Handlers in their understanding of placement terms including cross checking the preparation of client and market documentation

About you
4 + years of experience Commercial Insurance experience (Property and Casualty)
Experienced in Wholesale or London Market Broking
Experience as a Broker / Account Executive
Proven excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong technical and market knowledge
Proactive, resilient and forward thinking
